Attendance

Course participants must attend for the full duration of each session of their course. If there is going to be a problem, please discuss this with the office or your trainer as soon as possible.

Fitness

There are a number of practical sessions on all courses, including CPR and the placement of casualties into the Recovery Position. Candidates must be able to achieve these practical skills to be awarded certification.

Any physical disability or illness that may hinder participation on the course should be highlighted prior to commencement of the course.

Premises

We are happy to provide training at a clients premises. However, these must be adequate for the course taking place - there must be sufficient room to carry out practical sessions, good lighting/heating/ventilation, and possibly separate areas for examinations. We can advise if necessary, and have our own classroom available if your premises are not suitable.

Bookings

Bookings can be made by phone or email. We will send a booking form via email (or post if necessary) for you to return with your deposit. We will then confirm your place on the course via email / post.

Payment

Payment in full must be made by the end of the course for individual bookings, and within 21 days of the invoice date for full course bookings. Certificates are only issued once full payment has been received. We accept cash, cheque and electronic bank transfer. Short courses require payment in full with bookng.

Certificates

Names and spellings are taken from the sign in sheet. Participants are required to either check their name, or print their name clearly on the sheet. If a replacement certificate is required a charge of £5 plus VAT will apply.

Cancellations

We can accept substitutions up to the date of the course, but appreciate as much notice as possible.

Cancellations will incur charges as follows

- over 3 weeks before course commences - loss of deposit

- 7 to 21 days before course commences - 50% of course fees payable

- less than 7 days - full payment is due

At our discretion, we will transfer your booking to another course we have advertised.

Your details

We will store your details as required by HSE as a record of people taught and certificates issued.

We will never sell or trade our database with anyone else.

We will keep in touch with you regarding First Aid information and changes, and reminders.
